My Story

The beginning of a sweet obsession.

My love for baking began long before I realized it could become a career. As a child, I spent countless hours watching Food Network and YouTube baking videos, often trying to recreate the recipes I saw. I also have fond memories of helping my grandmother bake cakes and prepare family meals, where I first discovered the joy of creating something with my own hands.

When it came time to choose a career path, I initially pursued a degree in Fine Arts. While in school, I worked at a small pizza shop, where I developed valuable kitchen skills and discovered that I truly belonged in a culinary environment. After the shop closed, I found myself unemployed for quite some time. Although it was a difficult season, it became one of the most transformative periods of my life. As I grew closer to God, I learned to trust that He would provide and guide me according to His plan.

During that time, I had become a loyal customer of a local bakery known for its custom cookies. Since I could no longer afford to buy them, I challenged myself to recreate them at home. Friends and family encouraged me to start selling my cookies, but I always dismissed the idea. Everything changed in 2024 when I baked Valentine’s Day cupcakes for my mom to share with her classmates. One of them asked if they could place an order—and that single request became the beginning of Ángeles Sweets. Looking back, I truly believe God opened that door for me. What started as one small order has grown into a business that has allowed me to serve others through my passion for baking. Over the past two years, He has continued to provide, strengthen my skills, and help this business flourish in ways I never could have imagined.

Today, I continue to refine my craft through both formal culinary education and countless hours of practice. I love what I do because I believe food is more than something we eat—it creates experiences. It brings people together, preserves culture, and becomes a part of our most cherished memories and celebrations. One of the greatest joys of owning Ángeles Sweets is serving my community, getting to know my neighbors, and seeing the smiles and excitement on their faces when they receive something made especially for them. Every cake, cookie, and dessert I create is made with care, creativity, and gratitude to God for the opportunity He has given me. My prayer is that every order not only brings joy to your celebrations but also reflects the love, excellence, and faith that are the foundation of Ángeles Sweets.
